The ASICS Biomechanics Academy

Course Description

This full day course is based on extensive clinical experience in assessment and treatment of lower limb and gait dysfunction in sport. The course is based on basic biomechanics, but with focuses on asymmetry and changes around the pelvis and back associated with leg length discrepancies, making it suitable for even the experienced clinician. The course is PowerPoint based with practical demonstrations throughout the day using pressure plate mapping & Dartfish gait analysis software.

This course encourages delegate participation and is very visual with the use of video and hands on product participation to aid learning.

The afternoon focuses of ASICS sports shoe technology and leading design innovations which have placed ASICS at the forefront of sporting excellence. Liz Austen talks about how ASICS footwear can be used in your management program for sports injuries and has a full display of ASICS footwear.
